John, how's things down south? ? Pat Murphy has suggested the 1st May bank holiday 2010 and I will go for that. Do you agree? We can then get planning for what should be a quite weeks sight-seeing, sunbathing (is there a beach in Lloret) etc. We can also try and get some"sponsor pubs" (hammy, stevie, wille, ted, jimmy (texas), bennet, tilsley,) and also organise some outings (el rics, barratinas).

I suppose some will go for week-end but some will go for a week. It's up to you. Everybody books their own accomodation.

Billy Fraser...don't u remember me? Agnes worked next door to you in Nicky Tams and before that in nearly all of Ted's pubs..I used to sit with you at the Scottish games and Rangers v Celtic...we kicked with the same foot. Thanks for the info, about the reunion...I know no Hotels or anything in Lloret now...so maybe will ask Ricky for his advice. Cheers Billy x

Agnes, I usually stop in Fenals Gardens when I go over, you can usually get some cheap deals for there. Don't know if this helps

To those of you planning to come for the reunion next year...I do a site with loads of info about some of the hotels in Lloret, on which you'll find links for many hotels etc, with reviews from people who have stayed at them. Hopefully it may be of use to some of you... lloret-de-mar-accomodation.blogspot.com/

Linda, I think the last time I seen Gerd was in the old "Howf" in Glasgow. It'll be good to see him after all these years.
