hi jordi.good 2 hear from u,how u keeping?....that was some meal in el trull,did pc not have 2 eat a mars bar sandwich that day.there was the 4 of us from lloret & 4 from calella.fozby,pc & coffey,who was the 4th.i'm in touch with your sister anne on f/b.i've even spoke with beth on f/b...take care slip ps we must have done in about 5 bottles of scotch that day

Hi ian i do remember Klaus and yourself didnt you two do a runner form the Rovers on one of your trips.Pc.Fozby,Cof and eddie were partners in the three pubs they later split up with Cof getting the Rovers,PC & Fozby the Rabbies and Eddie the Apples.Fozby then went back to england where he had a share in a pub in Hastings with Spike.

gibbo....we always did runners...that was the point of going to calella..wind up.do you remember the time calella workers came to lloret & started a fight in the western saloon.gr8 memories.we did'nt do runners,when we came to calella,we did'nt pay & when calella came to lloret where i was working ,they did'nt pay either

Ian ......we used to fill a bus at least once year to go up to lloret it was the only night of the year in Callela when there were no Brits working or the ones that did make it where a bit worse for wear.One year we had just left the Picadilly (i Think)got on the bus when the Guardia jumped on Madrid got a crack on the skull from a gun butt we wanted them to shoot the prick fond memories how is Scouse Billy doing

hi gibbo. i,m george stewart. i had the picc from 1977 till '80. i (barely) remember the annual pool and darts matches we used to have. i woke up one morning with the "costa bravada cup" kept it in the picc for ages. andy fosters pub was in harwich, it was called the stingray. been trying to contact spike for ages but hes just gone off the radar. went to fosbys 60th birthday but unfortunately coffe nor p.c could make it. hey slippery... tell mi hermano i was asking fur him. jordi

Hi jordi..........we had a few good afternoons in the picc there are still a few of the boys still in Callela i believe. Madrid has the Alcatraz and Chugga has a pub in Malgrat PC i was told has a pub in Pineda i doubt i will ever get back as i now live in Nothern Australia.

hi gibbo....hi jordi,mi hermano & carol r supposed 2 come over 4 a visit some time soon.i've not seen him since 2003 in amsterdam.carol is organising it...i heard that spike had died,cant remember who told me.i'll b phoning andy 2night,will ssay hallo.anne seems 2 b enjoying life in spain.......gibbo,how u doin,i saw madrid & chugga in 1997 @ the reunion in lloret,even got some foto;s taken with them,chugga was'nt to happy as i had a rangers top on.scouse billy is doin ok,hes bought a house in bulgaria & he"s still with the same female he met in calella...slip

The good thing about working in Calella was the majority of the jocks were tims although we had a blue nose one year i think it was 1978 but he didnt last long

What about Big Harry, Gas Meter, Colin Gay, Adam, Russell..they were all Rangers..I thought Tommy McKinnon was too And Stu and Andy and Joe Brogan were Celtic

Limpy, I'm hurt & dissapointed that you have suggested I am a Rangers fan. Having been born a stones throw from that icon of Scottish football, Firhill (For thrills) I have always been a "Jags" fan or as Mr connolly says "Partick Thistle Nil". The 'Maryhill Magyars" are in my blood. Thats why I went to Spain, same colours Red & yellow, hehe. There are no jokes or insults that anyone can send back as I have heard them all before. Thistle & Scotland what a combination of football brilliance.!!!!! Hope you are well Danny. Oh, If it was you that made the comment about the Duke being the best pub bar none, I would tend to agree, but then I'm biased, but we did always have a good football team. Ask Hammy, the only way he could get a trophy from us was to send someone to steal it during the day, lol. Shuggie Kelly
