Hi to all regular readers of the Lloret Old Stuff blog. I'm not sure how this will work! but I intend to run it alongside the blog. The blog will carry on as normal but this is just a new feature to enable you all to get your messages across to each other. So here goes....... Jackie

Hi everyone. don't really recognise many names. I'm Matt who worked in the Western Saloon in 1986 and 1988. Came to Llorett with John Carew who worked in Laurel and Hardys. I worked with Alan Hagger, Colin, Shugg, Mark (from Greenock)Captain was another one. I'll have to post again because a lot of names escape me now. Great to see all the pictures though.

Limpy Dan here, formerly of the Gary Cooper, Corner Inn and Duke of York. Some of the names on here bring back memories, Albie and Stewart McKay, Andy M. and Stu R. Joan and Val W. Jill McKay. Nice to see pics of people like wee Chico, Graham H, Albie,Stevie Lynch and others. I was just back in Glasgow and met Stevie in the Horseshoe bar and he told me about this site. Well done Jackie, great idea and great site. I have some old pics from the late 70,s so when I learn to work a computer I will get them to you. All the best for now.

Hi George, Howgoezit? Aye that was a great wee re-union, things weren't too good with me and the missus back then so I was a wee bit subdued Still over here stateside, wee Archie has moved back to Newquay, Smoothie has gone back across the water and Tommy Potter has moved 4 hours up the coast,Big Tam is up in Seattle so I don't see the old crew much any more, (miss them). Wee Geoff Gowrey was over here with little Marie (Bolton) for a while but they split and he went back home . Hope all is well with yersel, tell all the crew I was asking for them.

Hiya Jill, Nice to hear from you, how life treating you and Lucy? We will need to have a wee get together next time we're back in Yorkshire. Brycie Johnson, the last time I saw the wee man was when me him and Archie went down to Beziers for 'la vandage'. Huvny heard a scooby since. Maybe someone else could throw some light on the subject. I,m sure wherever the wee man is he will still be causing a stir. Say hello to the other Paisley fellow for me!!

Will do,Albie is in Lloret at moment so I will have a word when he gets back and get him on the site, especially since he is staring in one of the photos. Lucie and I are fine and you definately do need to get in touch next time you are in Yorkshire, we are over in York all the time and it is only about 35/40 minutes from us. I will have to ask Albie about Brycie cos he might have heard something when he is up north. Get Eileen to put a trace on Graham Heywood (puffy graham) on facebook cos he is on, I have asked him to be my mate but not had a reply yet. He hasn't changed much except he is bald. We met up with him a few years ago when he was in Boogie Nights in Manchester.

For a start Aunty Jean is at the front on the left in the blue trousers, I believe the one at the front on the floor is called Steve??...stayed in Conquitas (is that how you spell it?) for a while and fell through one of the doors and broke it!
