What does everyone think about telling who we are, where we worked and what years etc. I sometimes find it difficult to recognise who is on the site especially when names are not used.
I am Jill Mckay (previously called Autherson) until I married Albie. I was in Lloret from 1976 until 1980. In 1976 I worked for Ted Law, initially in Piccadilly (when it was converted into how it is now). The lovely Bob Jackson was the manager and Ian Colligan was the under manager. My first wage I think was 800pts a week. Can you believe it. I also worked in Pink Panther, West Coast (although that was for free cos Andy use to make me wash up on my days/nights off), Moby and then in the office for Ted in the winter. 78 I worked in Ted's T-Shirt printing shops as well as the pubs. 79 back in the T shirt shops and I also worked for photo lloses, and 80 I worked for photo lloses with the fanastic Sandra Mahon. Since I left in 80 there are not many years that I havn't visited on holiday and my daughter Lucie followed in mine and Albie's footsteps and did a season a couple of years ago. It is like home from home to her as she has been most years since she was 5 months old.
Anyone else like to give us a run down?

Hi I'm Chris originally from Manchester, I worked in Lloret for 6 years with my boyfriend Jimmy Mac from Swansea who later I married. We worked in the Captains Cabin in 1973, in the Robin Hood in 1974 and 1975 stayed home in 1976 but Freddie Puigmarti who owned both bars came over to Swansea to see us and ask if we'd go back and work for him again. We managed the Cutty Sark in 1977 and managed the Robin Hood in 1978 and 1979. For the first three years we worked with Harry Mahon and became good friends with him and his wife Sandra although I havent seen them for 26 years. I hope to go back to Lloret this year for a holiday and hopefully catch up with them again.

;D Hola . Im Max . I started work doing Beach Parties . Then worked in a few other bars . Everybody knew me in Lloret as I was a rare breed . co cknee West Ham . Have lots of happy memories of the workers and the unity that was with them . When I went back to the East End after 10 years the Change really upset me Whitechapel would never be my old Whitechapel . Hence the reason I will never go back to Lloret I guess I would still want to see the bars as they were and the people who worked behind them still there . Rob Roy was always Rickys and Billys bar . Texas was Phil and Rich's... Sportmans,, Garys and Jimmys & Phils . John Lennons Figs . And happy memories of Russell always smiling im sure he thought he was Magnum .. Thanks for the Memories .. Max

Iain did you work in the Moby Dick in the winter when Simon and his wife were singing, must have been about 1981/82 I think, all the Saga people used to come to the Moby for a dance. I am Joan and worked in the Moby a few winters along with Andy, terrible memory and can't remember who else worked in the winter.

I did nothing really other than sorting our Lucie's gear out as she leaves for Magaluf next week, I won't half miss her, I can't wait for November till she is back

I wonder how many of us men are now Bald .. grey haired and grandads or Daddies

If only I knew how Pat, you just want me to give everyone a laugh. I was out with Derek (McGroovy) Wingate at the weekend here in Perth so I took some pics then. He was at the re-union. I got the T shirt. If I don't figure this out, send me your e-mail address and I'll send them there. Just about to send some Pics to Foxy in Liverpool.
