Cheers Billy I'd love to have a chat with him. I remember that when He'd had a drink or two he had to close one of his eyes to be able to focus on anything. Quite fond of the Antiquary I recall. I wonder what he finds to do for 6 months of the year in Thailand? I think my e-mail adress is on my profile if you could send his number , thanks a lot.

You have probably heard it by now, if not it is a little number by a well known player of the flugel horn.
Chuck Mangione.

Would that be the same Andy Tilsley that stood the other side of the bar with a green bottle in his hand but with no label on because the label was in the cavity in his mouth because he was frightened of the Spanish dentist. Yes it is, how you doing, hope life is treating you and your family OK

Well I must know you, you will have to post some photos. George stewart is on the site under the name Jordi, and Andy anderson's wife is also on. Spike isn't on, he lives in Bolton now.

I worked in Lloret from 95-97 and had some of the best and worst times of my life. My first job was in Stones Bar, where I was sacked for getting pissed all the time. Well, what do you expect, free booze and expected to play air guitar...
I then moved to Sherlock Holmes Bar, now Garfields I think. For the next two years I worked in TNT2 for, as I fondly called him, Bob the Bastard. Bloody pervert but what a laugh. Simon, Gerry's son, was the DJ and saved my life when I had nowhere to stay. I was friends with Sean from the Sportsman and he also worked in TNT2.
I lived above Seven Seas. The apartments were worse the a squat... I'm pretty sure a few doses of scabies would have been transferred back to the UK. The charismatic Saxon and big, crabbit Wullie ran the show...
I wish I had a better memory for names. When I can access a scanner i'll put my photos up.
I hope to visit Lloret again, maybe next year as i've only been for an overnight once when I was in Barca. Couldn't believe how many old faces were still there, more than ten years after I was last there. Lloret seems to get a hold of you like that!

Hi, my name is Steve, from London. Worked in lloret in 77. Stayed in Conchitas sharing a room with Billy Fraser and later on with "Mad Andy". Spent the first 2 months there getting drunk with Billy, Frank, Colin, Via and the rest of the Linwood guys. Worked most of the season at Lloses with little Geordie. Been back to Lloret a couple of times, but those days seem so long ago. I've got loads of pics, will post them as soon as I get up in the loft.

Hi Steve, good to hear from you. As you'll see from the site Frankie and me are still about and I think Colin is in Ireland. Vere sadly died a few years ago. I'm sure I've got a photo of us all on Conchita's roof. What are you doing now?

Thanks Billy, nice to hear from you. couldn't believe it when I saw you and Franks posts! Sounds like you stayed on over there after I left? How many seasons did you end up doing? Shame about Vere, I used to love watching him try to walk home after a skinfull! I'm still living in Essex, married, 2 kids and work on the railway. I must get up in the loft and sort those pictures out.

Hi Steve, I ended up doing about 12 years in the end. Mostly in the Rob Roy with Pepe, Ricky, Ginger Bob & Luis. Still go back regularly but not been this year due to bloody work. I'm living in Warrington and got marries about 4 years ago. Had one hell of a Lloret booze-up for the reception 4 days later.
